Saved on your device, not in a cookie
Some games remember your settings in your browser's own storage: whether sound is on, whether Japanese words are read aloud automatically, and whether the romaji keyboard is showing. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. You can clear them in your browser's settings.

- Payments: when you pay, you're on Stripe's secure checkout page, where Stripe sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention (Stripe's cookie policy).
- Videos: the Videos page plays YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may store information on your device once a video plays (Google's privacy policy).
- Fonts: the site's fonts come from Google Fonts. Google's servers receive your IP address in order to send them; no cookies are set.
- Lessons: Google Meet or Zoom use their own cookies when you join a call.
